Documenting my Journey

I’d like to share my journey with you. I am not interested in pretending I have all the answers when I don’t, and I’m happy to share what I learn as I go. Hopefully I can help you figure some things out along the way.

What journey am I talking about? It’s the story of a regular someone who dreams of something bigger for her life. It’s the journey of trusting my intuition, and taking responsibility for myself and my future. The journey of creating an online business from scratch.

I want to document the beginning of this journey because when I go on social media, all I see is people who seem to have it all figured out and that’s not always what I want to see. Sometimes it’s a bit tiring to look at people who seem to have it all, it can honestly be discouraging when you’re just starting, so I’m creating the content I’d like to see out there.

What did it look like when you started? What questions did you have? What did you have to learn on the spot? What challenges did you encounter? Those are the questions I want to ask to the people who inspire me to do what I’m doing today. And those are the questions I am going to answer for you as I go.

I am willing to share with you what I already know and what I’m learning, about content creation, entrepreneurship, creating an online business, marketing, time management, growing a business while working a day job, and all things related.

So far for me it looks like using all the skills I’ve learned in my experiences as a freelance photographer, a video maker, a film production assistant, and a human, to create something new and bigger. To create a new life for myself. A life where I can work for myself, and where I get to do something that I deeply care about. Helping others figure out what they want to do and help them do it.

This is something I believe I’m good at, and love doing, it’s one of those things that makes my soul sing, but it’s only recently that I’ve realised that I could do that on a bigger scale, it doesn’t have to be something I just do for myself and my friends every once in a while. I can do it for anyone who needs the encouragement and guidance I can provide.

So this is what I’m doing here, this is the journey I’m documenting: how do I get to help you with your projects, your career change, your new business? How do I get to be the person that’s going to guide you while you turn your life around?

I believe that sharing about myself and what I’m doing here with honesty is a good start. At least, that’s what I like seeing others do, that’s how I can relate to them and eventually trust them to give me advice. Communication, honesty, trust.

So there you have it, my master plan, my ambition is to get you to let me help you. Clear as day. I hope we’re off to a good start with this blog post.
