Entrepreneurship or The Fastest Road to Knowing Yourself

When I started to take creating an online business seriously, it came with a fair amount of doubts and questions. Can I build and run a company? Am I confident enough to express my thoughts and ideas to inspire others? Am I smart enough? Do I deserve to be happy? Do I have what it takes to make my dreams a reality?

As I started this journey, asking and answering these questions led me to understand how entrepreneurship is the perfect road to get to know myself on a whole new level.

If I am going to do this, I have to know what I am capable of, regardless of what I’ve been told I can or can’t do. I have to find confidence within and give myself the validation I need every step of the way. No one else is going to do it for me. Sure, I have friends cheering me on, but that’s not enough to keep the fire alive, it has to come from within. I have to know who I am.

When you start finding your own answers and figuring out your own strength, you start to realise that you can’t trust other people’s perception and opinion of you. It’s distorted, it doesn’t match your truth. You can’t rely on their validation when you are trying to build something only you can see. They’ll tell you it can’t be done.

You have to stay in alignment with what you know to be true about yourself. You are the one with the vision. When you know who you are, you will be able to stay the course and show the world what you’re made of, finding fulfilment and a purpose along the way.
